Tether just released its quarterly USDT attestation for Q3 2026.

Tether had a great third quarter of 2026, with ~1.5B in net operating profit. Tether’s reserve buffer continued to strengthen, nearly doubling to $7.95 billion from $4.1 billion at the end of Q2, an increase of $3.8 billion.

~183.5B total issued USDT, end of Q3 2026.
~7.95B excess reserves, on top of the 100% reserves in liquid assets that back all issued tokens, end of Q3 2026.

Generating $1.5 billion in net operating profit while maintaining nearly $8.0 billion in excess reserves gives us a strong foundation for that work.
