CCTP is the most widely used cross-chain protocol, ferrying USDC safely across chains for years. We've opened it up to any token issuer, bringing the same safe and performant cross-chain transit to asset issuers. This a big unlock for asset issuers.
Applications settle, post collateral, and show balances on the chain where they actually run. If your ERC-20 only lives where you minted it, every other venue needs a one-off bridge or wrapped copy.
